TenCate Grass specializes in synthetic turf sports pitches that are used all over the world for various sports. For this, C4Real has developed a 3D animation to introduce a new synthetic turf. But in a special way, namely by visualizing the evolution of synthetic turf.

Users of synthetic turf fields often think easily about the surface. For this reason TenCate Grass wanted to show how incredibly fast and advanced the development of synthetic turf has been. In short: an overview from the past to what it is today. By showing the entire evolution of synthetic turf from 1960 to the present day, TenCate Grass is also demonstrating their value in this chain. So it's simultaneously a product film, but also a division film for TenCate Grass and a corporate film. That's how we prefer to develop our films. In this case everything fell naturally into place.

The turf is projected on columns so that it fits exactly into the film. This includes photography of applications: field hockey, soccer and American football. In slow-motion, you see them making intense actions on the artificial turf, to show that it is high-quality material. As a result, the film appeals to target groups at different levels, both buyers and athletes.
